I'm not a pink person. Some people are always attracted to it - it's a color I usually shy away from, only going for the occasional magenta item. Even when I had twin girls, we hardly had anything that was pink.

But pink is intimately connected with Valentine's Day, so I decided to suck it up and pull together a few pink-ish items for your perusal:

• 1963 Aston Martin DB4 GT Lightweight - this car is gorgeous no matter the color, and it's really a pinkish red.
• Niche Modern Pharos fixture in Plum - also a bit of a shift away from the true pink, but the deep tones work beautifully with the glass.
• George Nelson Steel Frame Seating System - this one has been covered in pink vinyl upholstery, but it's a great piece.
• Joseph Joseph rotary peeler - I would go ahead and get a small kitchen item in pink (unless it had to sit out on my counter.)
• Sand chairs for Paola Lenti - against that beautiful bacground, any color looks amazing.
• IDEA International's reusable chopsticks -  a bit of a peachy pink, I might even prefer these a bit brighter.

I was toying with putting together a gift guide, just products that I think look great, and I realized that I have a real thing for white. So I decided to limit this guide to white-only items. My picks range from a $13 container to a $9000 camera, so take this with a grain of salt. I do have to say that I'm eyeing the stackable cookware, however, and think I may end up ordering a few of those for myself one of these days.
